Overview
Synchronized Class-D Technology Reimagined.
The MOSCONI PRO 2|30 EVO was developed to combine the advantages of modern Class-D technology with maximum control over the entire amplifier system.
Instead of allowing individual assemblies to operate independently of one another, the complete switching architecture is centrally controlled and synchronized. The power supply, output stages, and monitoring functions operate on a common time base, forming a unified closed-loop system.
The result is a highly efficient amplifier with controlled electromagnetic behavior and exceptionally stable signal processing – even under the demanding conditions of modern vehicles.
One Amplifier. One Clock. One System.
The PRO 2|30 EVO is a fully synchronized amplifier platform.
Unlike conventional Class-D amplifiers, where the power supply and output stages often operate with different clock generators, the PRO 2|30 EVO utilizes a common time base for the entire system.
A central microprocessor controls all switching operations and synchronizes the power supply, the audio output stages, and the amplifier’s monitoring functions.
As a result, all assemblies operate as a unified closed-loop system. Interference between different clock sources is reduced, and the electrical environment within the amplifier remains controllable and predictable.
This forms the foundation for high efficiency, stable operating conditions, and precise signal processing.
Less Interference. More Control.
Through the complete synchronization of all switching operations, electrical energy remains concentrated within clearly defined areas.
Interference between different clock sources is reduced, allowing the amplifier’s electromagnetic behavior to be predicted more accurately.
For the developer, this means more precise control over:
- Current paths
- Ground routing
- Filter structures
- PCB layout
- EMC behavior.
For the listener, it means a clean and stable sound image with high transparency and detail resolution.
Professional 4-Layer PCB Design.
The PRO 2|30 EVO utilizes an advanced 4-layer PCB with separate power and ground planes.
This architecture reduces critical impedances within the amplifier and improves the integrity of all signal and current paths.
Advantages of this design:
- reduced voltage drops
- lower susceptibility to interference
- improved high-frequency stability
- optimized power distribution
- controlled electromagnetic behavior.
The PCB does not merely serve as a carrier for the components, but is an active part of the overall amplifier concept.
The Switching Frequency is 500 kHz.
The audio output stages of the PRO 2|30 EVO operate at a switching frequency of approximately 500 kHz.
This places it significantly above that of many conventional Class-D designs.
As a result, switching artifacts are moved further away from the audible frequency range, enabling more precise signal reconstruction.
This enables:
- clean high-frequency reproduction
- improved linearity
- reduced load dependency
- reduced residual components within the audio band.
Such a high switching frequency places significant demands on layout, synchronization, and power supply design – precisely what the PRO 2|30 EVO was developed for.
Firmware-Controlled Intelligence.
The central microprocessor does more than just synchronize the system.
Protection functions, startup sequences, and the monitoring of all operating conditions are also managed digitally.
As a result, the PRO 2|30 EVO operates consistently, controllably, and reliably at all times – regardless of temperature, load, or operating conditions.
Developed as a Complete System.
In the MOSCONI PRO 2|30 EVO, the power supply, output stages, protection circuits, and control systems are not viewed as separate assemblies.
All components were developed from the outset as a single integrated system.
The combination of:
- synchronized Class-D architecture
- central clock control
- 4-layer PCB
- 500 kHz switching frequency
- intelligent firmware management
forms the foundation for an amplifier that unites high efficiency, operational reliability, and sound quality.
